DuraSafe E46 – ISO 46 Fire Resistant Hydraulic Fluid

DuraSafe E46 is a synthetic, ester based hydraulic fluid designed to replace mineral oil-based hydraulic fluids in applications where fire hazards are present, and when environmentally friendly products are required. DuraSafe E46 provides high performance anti-wear properties and excellent overall hydraulic system operations while maintaining high flash point and a stable viscosity. DuraSafe E46 is self-extinguishing and has excellent fire-resistance properties, allowing for safe operations in harsh industrial environments.

DuraSafe E46 does not contain any water, mineral oil or phosphate esters. It is a synthetic ester plus high performance anti-wear additives and corrosion and oxidation inhibitors.

DuraSafe E68 – ISO 68 Fire Resistant Hydraulic Fluid

DuraSafe E68 is a synthetic, ester based hydraulic fluid designed to replace mineral oil-based hydraulic fluids in applications where fire hazards are present, and when environmentally friendly products are required. DuraSafe E68 provides high performance anti-wear properties and excellent overall hydraulic system operations while maintaining high flash point and a stable viscosity. DuraSafe E68 is self-extinguishing and has excellent fire-resistance properties, allowing for safe operations in harsh industrial environments.

Compatibility:

DuraSafe E46 & E68 are compatible with mineral oil, phosphate ester, and polyolester-type hydraulic fluids. DuraSafe E46 & E68 are not compatible with water containing fluids such as water-glycols, water in oil emulsions, and high water content fluids. Use DuraSafe Flushing Compound for conversion from water-based hydraulic fluids to DuraSafe E46 & E68 HFD-U Fluids.

All standard filtration techniques are satisfactory with DuraSafe E46 & E68. Contact Falcon for recommendations with conversion from water-based fluids.

Blotter type filter elements will remove water contamination.
